Who are we now? What is the future asking of us?
One of the most essential conversations we will have in the interim is to seek the core of why UUC exists, especially in light of the world in which we live.
On Saturday, March 15 (in person at UUC), or on Wednesday evening, March 19 (an abbreviated session on Zoom), we will gather for a conversation that invites you to explore the core qualities of the congregation, your hopes for who you will seek to serve in the coming years, and what the intersection of your values and what is happening in the world now asks of this congregation specifically.
From your conversations, we will look for places of intersection to glean insight into UUC’s purpose and core identity to help you move into the future with greater clarity and strength.
You can sign up in UUC Connect or call the church office.
For the Saturday, March 15 in-person session, we will gather at 10 a.m. and have 3.5 hours to work together, have some lunch, and prioritize our guiding ideas to explore in the coming months. Childcare may be available at UUC if requested in advance. Lunch for omnivore, vegan, and gluten-free diets and snacks will be provided. You are welcome to provide your own lunch if you have a more restricted diet or to bring treats to share with the group.
If you cannot attend the in-person meeting, please register for the shorter Zoom meeting on Wednesday, March 19, from 6:30–8:30 p.m. We will send the Zoom link at least two days prior.
