Evergreen Supporters

The ministries and programming of UUC are funded almost entirely by the donations of its supporters. When UUC is planning the budget for the year of programming ahead, it's important to know the plans that UUC's donors have for giving during that year. A budget can't make commitments to funding for staff or programming that won't be supported by the eventual gifts received from donors. Each year, the church asks its supporters to make pledges of support for the upcoming fiscal year in the Annual Giving Campaign. Pledges are the lifeblood of the church and make the continuous operation of its ministries and programming possible.

If UUC is an integral part of your life and you want it to remain vital, consider becoming an Evergreen Supporter. Your participation signifies your deep and long-term commitment to the financial health and well-being of UUC by automatically renewing your annual pledge each spring for the next fiscal year. Your participation strengthens the church’s ability to plan for the next fiscal year (which runs from July of one year through June of the following year). 

Members of this group commit to renewing their pledges every year, and this is done automatically on their behalf at the level and with the payment method they currently have recorded. Evergreen Supporters can contact the church office at any time to change their giving level, frequency, and payment method. With the peace of mind that they are automatically included in each year's giving campaign, Evergreen Supporters can help the church ensure that it has the funding required to meet the needs of programming and operations in the coming fiscal year.

There is no minimum amount for your recurring pledge to be an Evergreen Supporter. Every household must consider multiple factors when deciding what their support for UUC can be, especially when thinking about their resources and opportunities year over year. We encourage you to use the Aspirational Giving Guide to help discern your pledge to UUC.

You can join the Evergreen Supporters group by logging in to UUC Connect and typing Evergreen Supporters into the Search bar. Click the "Join Evergreen Supporters" button to let the leads of the group know you'd like to become an Evergreen Supporter. You can also contact the church office to ask that someone add you to the group on your behalf.

Each of us also supports UUC and its mission through our myriad volunteer efforts as we work for justice and equity, teach and mentor children and youth, share the inspiration of worship and music, offer our leadership and service, volunteer our time in support of church operations, advocate for those whose voice needs our support, and reach out to one another in care and compassion.
