As a result of your generous donations during December and the Christmas Eve services, we have collected over $3,600 to donate to Lake City Partners Ending Homelessness (LCP)  in support of their Kenmore Senior Women’s Shelter. This new shelter serves very low-income retirement-age women who are community-minded, socially stable, and without chronic mental or physical health issues or substance abuse issues. LCP provides a full array of services, and staff work with residents to provide a pathway into shared housing solutions.

Many church members have indicated an interest in visiting this shelter, so we are looking into that and will keep you posted. Thank you for your ongoing care and compassion for unhoused people in our community.
