Ecstatic Dance

Tuesday, April 1, 7–9 p.m. in Nathan Johnson Hall

Ecstatic dance is a spiritual practice. We all get together to dance or sit and listen to the music. The music starts slow, gets faster, and slows down at the end. No dance experience required, no special steps needed. The event attracts adults of all ages. There are parents, elders, AND young adults. Never know who’s going to show up but it’s always multi-generational. We all dance (or sit) together to music.

Show up late or leave early—it's OK. Come to dance or just to listen to the music.

Childcare is not available on these new Tuesday dances, but will be available on our next regular Friday dance on April 11 from 6–8 p.m.
