Chalice Camp is UUC’s annual summer day-camp for Unitarian Universalist kids. Each week of Camp is full of fun, including music, art, games, worship, and meaningful field trips. Each year, we strengthen children’s Unitarian Universalist identity through these activities, and by supporting the development of friendships that last throughout the year.

In summer 2025, we are offering two full weeks of camp.

• July 14-18: We Are Artists!

In our first week of Camp, children will use a variety of creative mediums to learn about our Unitarian Universalist Values and explore mystery and wonder. This will include everything from building with Legos to creating self-portraits and sculpting with baker’s clay. This first week of Chalice Camp will include a field trip to one of Seattle’s many excellent art museums.

• July 28-August 1: Univelarian Fantastickal Forest Guild!

In our second week of Camp, children will be transported to a magical land of Univelaria, where they will be invited to join the Univelarian Fantastickal Forest Guild. At UUFG, children will learn about the ways we rely on one another in community and practice responding to injustice. UUFG includes components typical for live action role play and children will be invited to develop a fantastickal persona as a witch, wizard, or other magical creature.

Chalice Camp begins each day at 9:00 a.m. and pick up is at 4:00 p.m. It is open to incoming Kindergarteners through outgoing 5th graders (i.e, kids who will be in Kindergarten through 6th grade in fall of 2025).

Registration for the full week of Chalice Camp is $200 per child, per week.  Families registering 3 or more children are eligible for a 25% discount. We believe strongly that Chalice Camp should be available to all children who would like to participate.
