Walks 1st & 3rd Wednesdays, 10–11 a.m. at Magnuson Park

"Today I (Carol) went to a Celebration of Life for a friend I had known for 25 years. There wasn’t a formal spiritual aspect to the event, however, as I listened to all the speakers talk about what her friendship had meant to them, I was reminded how much spirituality exists in our friendships. Our Wise Women Connecting (WWC) walks offer this opportunity of connection with other UU women. Some of us have walked the entire 12 months that WWC has offered this on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month. We have never had to cancel. If you have wanted to try this opportunity, we hope you will choose this wonderful weather to start your journey with us."

The Wise Women Connecting group meets for a walk at Magnuson Park on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. We meet at 10 a.m. and walk about an hour. Great company and well-paced exercise.

Drive into the park on NE 65th Street, drive to the bottom of the slight hill, turn left and drive to the end of the road. Park facing the water and meet up by the restrooms.

Wise Women Connecting welcomes all UUC members and friends who identify as women and are retired, contemplating retirement and/or interested in issues of aging.
