Indeed it was a "Welcome Table"! Our all-ages, all-church, everyone-welcome potluck on Friday, October 4, saw 90+ UUC members, friends and visitors gathered happily in Nathan Johnson Hall. 

Food tables offered a beautiful and bountiful feast—with a particularly excellent array of desserts. The vibe was warm with good energy. Folks leaned into conversations of all sorts and busy hands at the 'creation station' made friendship bracelets and a big 'tile-mosaic' that we hope to see displayed soon. Care for one another connected us all in the community! 

An event such as this takes many hands, but was made easy by the willing help of so many. Our sincere gratitude to the 18 folks who pitched in to make all run smoothly. And a special note of thanks to staff who played a vital role behind the scenes and at the event in support of this gathering, especially:

• Susan St. John for communications and publicity
• Jorge Del Valle for event day support
• Aria Curtis for hands-on activity advice and supplies 

May the glow from this experience linger on. We will do this again! Stay tuned...
