UUC is looking for a Family Ministry Coordinator to work with and assist the Director of Family Ministry to implement programs and events for children and their families at University Unitarian Church. Though many of the tasks associated with this position are administrative, it does include opportunities for creativity, collaboration, and professional development.

We are looking for someone who is detail oriented and enjoys working with children and their parents. Ideally this is someone who is a self-motivated leader, with strong problem-solving and organizational skills, who can work with a wide variety of personalities and individual learning styles. Additionally, we are looking for someone with an ability to work with diverse populations, cultivate a sense of cultural humility, and communicate with people from many cultures, backgrounds, and historically marginalized groups.

The Family Ministry Coordinator will do things like help manage supplies and ensure the calendar, UUC Connect, and the website pages related to Family Ministry are up to date with relevant information. They will help to plan and implement important special events, like Chalice Camp, Faith in Action Days, and Parent Night Out.
