Wednesday Forum

Wednesday, October 18, 11 a.m.–1 p.m. in Knatvold and via Zoom

The October 18 Wednesday Forum will be an "open mic" session to share perspectives on current events, including the turmoil in the Middle East. We will meet in person in the Knatvold room at UUC and via Zoom.

On November 1, Seattle City Councilmember Alex Pedersen, who represents Northeast District 4 and is not running for reelection, will speak on affordable housing and homelessness.

The Foreign Policy Association has announced the topics for Great Decisions 2024. Booklets usually become available toward the end of the year, and we receive them in time to start the sessions in early February. Here is an early-bird look at the topics: Mideast realignment, climate technology and competition, science across borders, U.S.-China trade rivalry, NATO's future, understanding Indonesia, High Seas Treaty, and pandemic preparedness.

All are welcome to join the Wednesday Forum. If you are not already on the Forum list and would like to be, to receive the Zoom link and regular notices, please contact the UUC office at office@uuchurch.org or (206) 525-8400.
