Virginia Gunby, a longtime member of UUC, passed away on July 12, 2021. In life she was dedicated to her family, her husband, George, and their five children. Her life work, both volunteer and employed, focused on stewardship of the environment and establishing urban areas as healthy places to live for future generations. Professionally, Virginia played many roles in local government and was a tireless advocate for public mass transportation and growth management. She and George were together for over 70 years.
