Our Whole Lives Information Night

Thursday, September 14, 6:00-8:00 p.m., in Knatvold (childcare provided) or via Zoom

At UUC we are proud to make comprehensive sexuality education available to children and teens. We know that accurate, honest, and holistic information about sexuality changes lives. We believe that having the ability to make informed and responsible decisions about our relationships, sexual health and behavior deepens our understanding of ourselves, our values, and helps us make meaning in our lives.

Anyone who is curious about the Our Whole Lives (OWL) sexuality education program at UUC is invited to join us for an OWL Information Night on Thursday, September 14, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in Knatvold or online. We will cover information about the program philosophy and approach, options available at UUC, how those who are interested might volunteer, and why we offer sexuality education at church.

For those attending in person, childcare will be available for this gathering upstairs in the Children’s Suite. If you wish to attend online, please register to receive the Zoom link.

For more information about this meeting or about Our Whole Lives, please contact UUC's Director of Family Ministry, Aria Curtis.

OWL is a comprehensive, lifespan sexuality education program developed in partnership by the Unitarian Universalist Association and the United Church of Christ. OWL provides accurate, developmentally appropriate information about a range of topics, including relationships, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, sexual health, and cultural influences on sexuality.
