UUC members and friends, along with family, colleagues, and all those who came to know, admire, and love Anita Brown are invited to remember and celebrate her life. Anita, a long-time member of the church, passed away on September 25, 2023, near her home in Lake Forest Park, WA. She is survived by her husband, Steven Booy, her children Colin Booy, Aaron Booy and his wife Elizabeth, and Anita's beloved granddaughter, Addie.

Anita was kind and compassionate. She spent her career as a social worker, and cared deeply for the many people with whom she crossed paths in life. Anita loved music, was a voracious reader, and was constantly curious about the ways of the universe near and far. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.

The memorial service will be held Saturday, October 28 at 2 p.m. at University Unitarian Church. A reception will immediately follow. The Rev. Jon Luopa, Senior Minister, will officiate.
