[December 1: Unfortunately, the Gingerbread Making Party for youth scheduled for tonight at the church has been canceled. We just didn’t get the critical mass needed this year to pull it off. And that is okay! That being said, you can still come and make a gingerbread house with homemade parts on Saturday at the Holiday Decorating Party.]

Special Note

Longtime community members will notice that the Family Candlelight Service is missing from this calendar. After much discernment, we’ve decided not to do the Family Candlelight Service this year. This service includes many longstanding and beloved traditions, so it was a difficult decision to make. However, to be frank, between weather and the pandemic, we've now prepared for and re-visioned or canceled this service three years in a row. Before that, the service had been re-envisioned for UUC's time at Meadowbrook. This year, I'd like to focus our collective energy on the Family Holiday Service (which includes the nativity tableau) and let the space between it and Christmas fallow. Then, next year, we can see what new traditions might emerge.

Please also note that we will be having our usual Christmas Eve Candlelight Services on Sunday, December 24, at both 7 and 9 p.m. (There will be no morning services that Sunday.)
