Many of us are saddened or even outraged by the ongoing war in Gaza, and wondering if the future might bring peace and justice to this long-embattled region. Two upcoming events might help educate, enrich, and empower us.

One, sponsored by Tomorrow's Women, is at Town Hall Seattle on March 8th. It features an Israeli musician and a Palestinian journalist who are collaborating to spread a message of hope. Click here to find out more.

The other event is closer to home. UUC will host a second set of listening and learning circles on Wednesday, March 20th, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in the Knatvold Room. We will eat Palestinian-Israeli food, and listen to and learn from one another about a conflict that goes back at least a century.
