Chalice Camp is UUC’s annual, summer day-camp for Unitarian Universalist kids. It is a week of fun including music, art, games, worship, and meaningful field trips. We spend lots of time outside playing or walking to and from nearby parks. We often use public transit to get around and for field trips! Each year, we strengthen children’s Unitarian Universalist identity through these activities and by supporting the development of friendships that last throughout the year. Chalice Camp is open to incoming Kindergarteners through outgoing 5th Graders. 

In summer 2024, we are offering two full weeks of camp! 

• July 22-26: Foodie Fun!
  Our first week of camp will focus on interdependence through the lens of food! In addition to the empowering experience of developing cooking and baking skills, children will learn about where their food comes from, how it gets from there to their home, and who makes that happen. We’ll experiment, try new things, and even visit an urban farm! 
• July 29-August 3: Wizarding Academy!
  Calling all wizards! Through the magic of imagination and storytelling, we will be transported to the Unitarian Universalist Wizarding Academy, where we will kick off the week with a sorting ceremony. Our week will be filled with creativity, fun activities, and lots of storytelling, all centered on justice. Costumes will be encouraged!

Chalice Camp begins each day at 9:00 a.m. and pick up is at 4:00 p.m. It is open to elementary-age children, entering 1st through 6th grade. 

Registration for the full week of Chalice Camp is $200 per child, per week. Families registering 3 or more children are eligible for a 25% discount. We believe strongly that Chalice Camp should be available to all children who would like to participate.
