“The Essence of a Place,” an exhibit of art work by Carolyn Doe, will open in the chapel on Sunday, April 7. All are invited to meet the artist at a reception that afternoon from 1–3 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

Doe’s exhibit will include batik images on silk, as well as palette knife paintings in oils. Her inspiration comes from the natural landscape that surrounds her in the various places where she has traveled, lived, and worked—especially in the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, and Antarctica.
