Wednesday Forum Holiday Party

Wednesday, December 20, 11 a.m.–1 p.m. in Knatvold and via Zoom

Share holiday cheer at the Wednesday Forum holiday party December 20. People are asked to bring their favorite foods and holiday readings, or even songs.

At our first meeting of the new year on January 3, Bruce Campbell, aided by Jane Sisk, will discuss Medicare Advantage plans, including how they came to be, their performance and problems, and possible policy changes. We will continue to hold dual-platform meetings, in person at UUC and by Zoom.

Starting in February, the Forum will cover topics in The Foreign Policy Association's Great Decisions 2024. Booklets ($35) are available for pre-order at https://www.fpa.org/great_decisions/?act=gd_materials. Here are the upcoming topics:  Mideast realignment, climate technology and competition, science across borders, U.S.-China trade rivalry, NATO's future, understanding Indonesia, High Seas Treaty, and pandemic preparedness.

All are welcome to join the Wednesday Forum. If you need help accessing UUC Connect, our password-protected site for members and friends, or if you are not already on the Forum list and would like to be to receive the Zoom link and regular notices via email, please contact the UUC office at office@uuchurch.org or (206) 525-8400.
