Last August, one of the large windows in the UUC chapel spontaneously shattered in place, greatly surprising UUC pianist, Dwight Beckmeyer, who was practicing at the time! Lead times for manufacturing such a large piece of tempered safety glass are long, and the equipment and necessary shoring of the building to allow the replacement work takes time to arrange. But the window has now replaced.
