Rev. Jon Luopa will deliver a homily.
All are welcome to attend Music Sunday. Invite your friends. You'll want to arrive early for a good seat. If you are able, this is definitely a Sunday to attend the service in person, although the live stream will also be available, as usual.
Marianna Martines, (1744-1812), was a composer, pianist and singer based in Vienna, who knew Mozart and Haydn. As a child, Martines was talented enough to perform before the Imperial court, and as an adult she was frequently asked to perform for the Empress Maria Theresa. Her compositions are only now beginning to be rediscovered.
