Interweave Potluck and Program

Friday, December 1, 6–8 p.m. in Knatvold and via Zoom

Our potluck starts at 6 p.m. followed by a dual-platform (in person and via Zoom) program at 7 p.m.

As many of you know, our trans and gender expansive Beloveds are under attack and being criminalized in many US states right now. This is so serious that they fit the criteria to be designated as internally displaced people (IDPs) by the United Nations. The Unitarian Universalist Association and the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee are partnering directly with frontline trans-led organizing to create networks of safety and direct support for Beloveds who need to relocate, access healthcare across state lines, or stay as safe as possible where they are. This evening's speaker will address these efforts.

If you have access to a Netflix account, I encourage you to watch The Dads, an eleven minute documentary of dads of transgender children who go on a fishing trip with Dennis Shephard, the father of Matthew Shephard.

Interweave focuses on the LGBTQ++ community and its allies. All are welcome.
