Please welcome Emily M. Wilson of Traveller Worldwide Explorations at an Artist Reception on September 17. She will be opening an exhibit of her recent international photography, "Views Through the Global Lens." and briefly speaking on travel photography today from a cultural and historical aspect. All are invited to attend this free event. Refreshments will be served.
“Travel is like a date with my own soul, revealing my inner self, even as I absorb the outer world,” explains Ms. Wilson. A Seattle native, an award-winning photographer, and a world traveler, Ms. Wilson absorbs and reflects on the places she visits, turning her camera to people and details unique to each culture. She has combined her passion for both photography and travel by leading small-group, cultural photographic tours to all parts of the world. Ms. Wilson holds degrees from the University of Washington in Comparative Religions and Middle East Studies. Ms. Wilson is greatly diversified in her own travel expertise. She has owned her business, Traveller Worldwide Explorations, LTD, for over 30 years. She is both knowledgeable and very witty in her presentation style, and is well-liked by all.
Most photos in the exhibit are for sale, special orders may be taken, and additional photos will be available during the reception. A portion of the proceeds benefits UUC. The exhibit will hang until October 20, 2023.
